I am passionate about all things espresso. Really good espresso.

I started Longshot Espresso in 2006 after moving from Sydney to Los Angeles and finding it hard to get the quality espresso I’d served my customers in Australia. It was all drip coffee, darker, bitter roasts, frappuccinos and giant, milky lattes.

The Longshot team spent more than a year testing different blends and roasts at The Supreme Bean in Hollywood to create Longshot Australian Roast.  A lighter roast than what you’ll find at most American coffee chains, Longshot’s subtle mocha flavor makes it naturally sweet so you don’t need syrups or powders to make it taste good.

I like to say, a Longshot espresso is sweet, smooth, and never bitter – just like our baristas.

The best part? We can come to you. Longshot Mobile Espresso Bars and baristas [link to services page] will make an appearance at any event, production or special occasion and serve perfectly made lattes, macchiatos and cappuccinos. To make a booking just give me a call.

Our exceptional espresso has already earned a reputation around town. We’ve made appearances on the sets of Mentalist, House, Chuck, The Office, on the red carpet of the departure lounge at the Oscars®, even the Italian Film Festival.

They all agree (and you will too), we make the the best cup of coffee by a Longshot!

See you soon,

Mark Baird
